Training

H&C Demolition is investing heavily in training for all members of its team.  All operatives and site foremen are included within the company’s training plans to ensure they are able to carry out their daily duties in a safe, knowledgeable and efficient manner.  This not only ensures that health and safety awareness remains a priority but it also means we are able to maintain the high skills levels required to provide our customers with a quality service. 

Training courses are identified for each operative and site foremen on a personal basis.  Qualifications achieved are monitored in house to ensure that refreshers and renewal courses are attended when required.  Individuals are also encouraged to identify courses they feel would be of benefit to assist in their own Continuous Professional Development plans.

Current training plans include:  

NVQ, CSCS, CCDO, CPCS, Demolition Safety Awareness, Environmental Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, Qualified First Aid, Abrasive Wheels, Safe Working at Height, Use of MEWP, PASMA Mobile Towers, Waste Management, Fire Marshall, Banksman, Slinger, Signaller, Safe use of Oxy Fuel Tanks, Practical Demolition, Tool Box Talks, Manual Handling.
